What is a Virtual Assistant?
That is the $64,000 question. It’s a question I didn’t know the answer to 12 months ago.
A Virtual Assistant (VA) was something I’d never heard of & I certainly wasn’t expecting myself to become one.
October 2016 was a difficult time for me, in fact pretty much the whole of 2016 was. To quote The Fresh Prince “my life got switched turned upside down” and I had to come up with a new plan.
I had to relocate and that meant that I couldn’t really continue with the job I had. Thankfully I found work as a freelance PA for a family member.
Then a good friend sent me a link to an article about VAs and planted the seed of thought in my brain.
After a spot of internet research, I found a website called The VA Handbook and read article after article, followed link after link. I joined the Facebook group.
Eventually, I took the plunge and purchased the training course available through the website.
This was in June 2017 and I have to say, I have learnt a lot in the last 4 months and I fully intend to learn a heck of a lot more.
So, what is a VA? A VA is a person like me, freelance admin. A person who you can hire to help free up your time and support you and your business.
And how can you get one? Easy, just contact me!
